Ladysmith Black Mambazo will do a National tour which will kickstart with a 4-day concert at Joburg theatre from the 24th till the 28 of May. Joburg audiences will enjoy an exclusive 90 minutes with a 15-minute interval.
Part of the legacy and highlights of Ladysmith Black Mambazo musical journey is being the anchors and touch bearers of isicathamiya music and indigenous music. Four years ago, Ladysmith Black Mambazo launched a Ladysmith Black Mambazo mobile academy where it discovers young aspiring groups who sing isicathamiya and indigenous music at larger. During this tour, some groups will be sharing a stage with Ladysmith Black Mambazo .
Ladysmith Black Mambazo will also visit schools in these cities to motivate them and do a music masterclass with students.
