The PT Barnum

This is one of the premiere VIP venues at Joburg Theatre. Nestled between the foyer and The Mandela theatre, The PT Barnum is an intimate venue of velvet sophistication.

This venue is named after the American showman Phineas Taylor Barnum, who was the founder of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum Bailey Circus and was considered as the first “show business millionaire”.

The PT Barnum resonates an old world showbiz charm. Its unique attraction is its private entrance into the theatre auditorium VIP box, which accommodates 22 guests in premiere private seating, thus allowing guests access into their own hospitality suite before, during and after the show, without having to enter the main auditorium.

The PT Barnum can accommodate 22 guests in a cocktail setting with their own private bar.
